Any file, any format.
Drop a file and convert between the formats students actually use. Images, PDFs, Word docs, text, CSV. Everything happens in your browser; nothing is ever uploaded.

Ask your PDF a question.
Load a PDF and ask questions in plain language. The reader finds and quotes the most relevant passages, fully offline. Your file never leaves the browser.

Why I built this.
A short letter from the person behind Study Desk.
Hey, friend,
I'm an engineering student, just like a lot of you. And for years, my "study workflow" looked like this: one website for a GPA calculator, another for a word counter, a third for converting a document to PDF, a fourth for flashcards. Every single one of them wanted something from me first.
Sign up to continue. Only 3 free conversions per day. Upgrade to Pro to unlock this feature. Some of them were straight-up sketchy, asking me to upload my documents to who-knows-where just to convert a file. I'd spend more time dodging paywalls and pop-ups than actually studying.
One night, in the middle of exam week, juggling five tabs just to finish one assignment, I thought: why does something this simple have to be this annoying? So I built the thing I wished existed. Every tool a student actually needs, on one desk. No sign-up. No limits. No "premium pack." Your files never even leave your browser.
And it will stay that way. Everything here is free, for everyone, forever.
But I'll be honest with you, the way a friend would be. I'm a student. I'm not rich. Keeping a website running (the domain, the hosting, the time to build new tools like the mock tests you've been asking about) costs money I sometimes don't have. Instead of locking features behind a paywall like everyone else, I decided to just… ask.
If Study Desk has saved you time, helped you pass a class, or even just spared you one shady sign-up form, consider chipping in whatever you can. Think of it as buying a friend a coffee for helping you study. And if you can't, that's completely fine too. Share it with a classmate instead; that helps just as much.
